What we have done
We have started on the poster. Added title, names and abstract
We cited the claims we had in the introduction
We updated the diagram in the methods section to a better picture
We removed raw data from the results section in the chart
We added a chart of all our data collected into the discussion section and a summary of out data
Updated the bibliography with the citation for the claims in the introduction
Added a chart of all our data collected in the experiment into Annex B - Research Data.

Elaboration
Some set-backs we faced today were that there was a power trip so the heater could not be used. We thus could not do the experiment for temperature of hotplate as if we used a water bath or another heater, the temperature used for the experiment for the factor tested and the control would be different.

Elaboration
We decided not to test for temperature of surroundings as we would need to heat up the whole beaker. However, with a hotplate, that would not be possible as the bottom of the beaker, which is closer to the hotplate than the rest of the beaker, would be the hottest. To test this factor, we would need to use a water bath. However, we had already decided against using the water bath as the temperature of the water bath decreases once it reaches the maximum temperature that it can reach. The temperature of the water bath also decreases when there is not enough water in the water bath, but when we add more water, the temperature decreases even further, thus if the water bath was used, the temperature would not have been constant.

We edited our proposal so that the distillation set-up is not needed anymore
We went to the lab tech to inform her of the changes in the materials that we need.
We decided not to use the cardboard box for our experiment as we will be dealing with heat and since cardboard is flammable, it will be very dangerous.

3 Variables and Hypothesis

Independent Variable: Surface Area, Temperature of water, Temperature of Surroundings, Purity of Water
Dependent Variable: The rate of evaporation of the water (ml/min)
Constant Variable: The amount of water, the rest of the independent variables except for the one being tested on.

Hypothesis: The hypothesis is the independent variable affects the rate of evaporation such that it may either increase or decrease in such a way that it will not remain the same.
